News & Notes Following the 6/22 Edition of RAW

  • New matches added for the KOTR CPV: Rey Mysterio vs. Christian for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
  • Booker T finds a "loophole"?: Apparently, Main Event Mafia member Booker T found a "loophole" when it comes to the World Heavyweight Championship. After losing the title in the Elimination Chamber @ No Way Out -- Booker T has been looking for a way to get "his" title back. Most figured he got his' rematch at WrestleMania in the Triple Threat Match, but it seems as if that's not the case. Now, with him exercise his' rematch clause -- he now gets Samoa Joe one-on-one for the title at the King of the Ring. However, after last week's loss to Joe in a non-title match -- what type of mindset will Booker T have going into the CPV?
  • Preview for the next SmackDown!: With the KOTR just 3 days away, a whole lot is yet to be settle as far as the KOTR tournament is concerned. After a questionable enizguri, CM Punk must take on Christopher Daniels once again in the quarterfinal round. Which superstar shall advance & face Chris Jericho? Also, AJ Styles wants Scott Steiner after a brutal beatdown last week. Now, Styles will get that chance as he teams up with the World Heavyweight Champion -- Samoa Joe facing Steiner and Booker T. Who will be going into the CPV with momentum? Find out!
  • Hart Dynasty Debut Next Week on RAW?: If you saw the 6/22 edition of RAW, you saw the promo stating that The Hart Dynasty would debut the night after the KOTR CPV -- when RAW comes to San Jose, CA. But, watch out -- The Hart Dynasty won't be the only team or wrestlers showing up on WWE CAWFed programming. Stay tuned!

King Of The Ring Tournament Update + More

  • For those who watched the 6/19 edition of SmackDown!, you saw a controversial finish to the Punk-Daniels KOTR Quarterfinal match. Punk delivered an enziguri to Referee Tim White, which got him disqualified. But, the Board of Directors saw this and has scheduled this match to take place once again on next week's show -- which Chris Jericho didn't like at all. Jericho stated that he should've been given a pass into the finals. Meanwhile, Christopher Daniels disagrees with Jericho and stated that he should just keep his mouth close.
  • New matches added to the KOTR CPV: AJ Styles vs. Scott Steiner for the WWE U.S. Championship, Awesome Kong vs. Angelina Love for the WWE Diva Championship and Beer Money Inc. vs. Latin American X-change.
  • Friction within the Beautiful People?: If you think that Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have beef with one another, think again. After Love won the Divas' #1 Contenders' Fatal 4-Way, many wonder how Velvet felt about her getting pinned by Love. Velvet stated that Angelina did what anyone would've done and made sure she was victorious, but they are as tight as ever before and come King of the Ring they would celebrate with the Divas' Championship.
